When you become a WebAvenues client, you can expect dedicated and prompt service from your development team. We take great care to make sure that every detail of your project receives our full attention, and we are available to address your needs in person (if you live in the Los Angeles area), by phone and by email. Here is a brief overview of the process involved in constructing a typical web site.

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation allows the WebAvenues team to give prospective clients an idea of how we will handle their project, as well as answer their questions. If you are in the Los Angeles area, we will be happy to meet in person. Otherwise, we will keep in contact by phone and email. There is no obligation, and this consultation is completely free.

Signing of the Agreement

After the initial consultation, if the prospective client feels it is worthwhile to proceed, we will provide a detailed written estimate. If the proposal is approved, WebAvenues will then draw-up an agreement covering the details of our working relationship with the client. Your project manager will be available to answer any questions from start to finish.

Content Preparation

The first step in beginning your project is to gather all the necessary content for your web site. We begin with photos and graphics, and the client is free to work on the text content while the site is being built.

Site Structure and Visual Layout

Once we have conferred with the client and agreed on a general layout structure, our team will setup the site navigation scheme. We can then produce a draft of the site's main pages, based on the client's requests and the information we gathered during the initial consultation. We work closely with the client throughout this process, and a second draft is presented based on the client's s input and requests. The site's overall structure and navigational elements are finalized and will be applied to the whole site, creating a cohesive look and feel.

Coding and Testing

After the site's structure is finalized, the client provides the text content necessary to coding the actual pages. Interactive applications, databases, forms and other dynamic content are added to the pages and all the graphics and content are optimized and double-checked for accuracy. Our development team thoroughly tests the pages in different browsers and on different platforms to ensure compatibility. A test web site is established for the client to review and make any additional changes.

Site Goes Live

After a complete final review of the test site, the final web site is ready to be uploaded to the client's domain and the project goes live. Prior to the site launch, our team will have taken care of the domain registration, web host setup, email campaigns, submission of the web site to search engines, and other related tasks the client has requested.
